Um, hey everyone. My name's Abbi, and I am an addict.

Ever since my mum and dad broke up when I was two and I started being able to eat whatever I wanted when I went to my dad's house on the weekends, I've been an addict. For my entire primary school life, all I ate was salt 'n' vinegar chips, vegemite on toast, chicken nuggets and chips.
And sauce.

Now, I cannot get enough of it. I constantly eat sauce. I go to McDonalds even when I don't have money, just so I can eat the sauce you can get for free. (The BBQ sauce is goddamn good.) When I eat at Wendy's on Queen Street, where you have to take the sauce sachets from the tray on the side of the counter, I take handfuls and handfuls and put them in my pockets and eat them with my food. (Or without, if I am broke.)

I am one of those people who annoying uncles like to ask; "Having some chips with your tomato sauce then, aye?" Sadly, yes I am.

I am proud of myself. I have managed to restrain myself, and only eat half a bottle of sauce in the past two days. This is even considering that both nights we had tomato sauce-conducive dinner, plus lunch today, plus afterschool snack. Wow, I'm making an improvement.

I also think that I may be lowering my standards in order to maximise my sauce input. Mother bought tomato sauce the other day. It was Signature Range, in a bottle, and usually I will only touch Oak or Watties out of a can. (oh dear god a freshly opened can of tomato sauce.) However, after sampling some with fish, chicken nuggets and chips I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was quite nice, quite unlike my last experience of Signature Range in a can, which tasted like shit. Was this just my imagination? Was I craving sauce so much (as mother hadn't bought any in two and a half weeks) that its taste improved to suit my craving? Does Signature Range sauce taste better in a bottle than in a can?

I do not know. I also do not know if I really want to overcome this addiction.

Why cannot men buy the right type of sauce?

Watties and Oak sauces are the only acceptable tomato sauces. Signature range is ICKY.

I got so annoyed by the fact the tomato sauce bottle was filled with signature range the other day, and I was so sick of eating it, that I tipped it down the sink, washed it out, and filled it up with sauce from a Watties can. We can save the other Signature range can for when his friends come over, then THEY can eat it and see how THEY like it.

Grr /end rant.

I joined this community on a whim, mostly though because it was the only community that listed worchestershire sauce as an interest.

So what exactly is this about?
